Alternative Provision
John has over ten years experience working with children, teens and families who need additional support in childcare settings, the education sector and alternative provisions.
Each child is treated as a unique individual who has their own learning path and John offers support and/or scaffolding in accordance with particular areas personal to them.
He has also worked with parents and external support agencies to offer play based child led sessions where differences are respected and strengths are identified, supported and enhanced.
These one to one sessions are planned and adapted according to development and focus. A 45 minute introductory meeting gives everyone a chance to speak informally and look round the provision to see if it is the right 'fit' for them.
