Our Team
We have seven Early Years Practitioner team members who co-childmind, each with a vast amount of experience and qualifications.
Racheal runs 'Tiny Footprint Outdoor Explorers' and has worked with children for over 25 years in both the education and social care sector as well as safeguarding for Suffolk County Council. Racheal is a registered childminder, qualified Level 5 Early Years Practitioner and also a Level 3 Teaching Assistant. Racheal has also obtained the Level 3 in Education and Training, and is a Qualified Assessor for Early Years in college and via work based learning. She is also a qualified Elklan speech and language tutor and offers one to one support as well as teaching parents and other practitioners.
John has also worked with children in education and health care settings for over 10 years and is a fully Qualified Level 5 Early Years Educator. He is a registered childminder and qualified Forest School Leader as well as being an Archery GB Instructor. He runs 'Aspects Childcare Ltd' alongside 'Tiny Footprint' with all of the team. He also offers 'one to one' alternative provision sessions for children not in mainstream education.
Katy is our third registered childminder who has been working in the health care sector for 15 years. She regularly takes the one to one and small group sessions, working with babies from 6 months old up to school age and is also completing her level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
Emily is our fourth team member who is currently at college and with us part time. Emily has experience of working with young babies and children and comes into the setting to support the children with one to one and small group work. She is hoping to become a Speech and Language Therapist when she has finished her studies so will hopefully still be with us for a long time to come!
Nick is our fifth team member who is also a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader alongside John. He has previously worked with children as an inclusion officer and takes on the role as our outdoor learning practitioner. He has a wide experience of working with children not in mainstream education and runs the alternative provision alongside John.
We also have Aaliyah and William who facilitate art and crafts, offer one to one learning and support small group outdoor activities.
We all have enhanced DBS certificate's on the update service, Level 3 paediatric first aid and safeguarding training among other things like British Sign Language, Makaton, Food Hygiene, Prevent Duty, etc! Please see 'Qualifications and Training' Page.
