Our Team

We have seven Early Years Practitioner team members who co-childmind, each with a vast amount of experience and qualifications.

Racheal runs 'Tiny Footprint Outdoor Explorers' and has worked with children for over 25 years in both the education and social care sector as well as safeguarding for Suffolk County Council. Racheal is a registered childminder and a qualified Level 5 Early Years Practitioner. She is also a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, has a Level 3 in Education and Training, as well as being a Qualified Assessor for Early Years in college and via work based learning. She is a qualified Elklan speech and language tutor and offers one to one support as well as teaching parents and other practitioners.

John has also worked with children in education and health care settings for over 10 years and is a fully Qualified Level 5 Early Years Educator. He is a registered childminder and qualified Archery GB Instructor who runs 'Aspects Childcare' and is currently studying to become a level 3 Forest School practitioner.

Jessica is our third registered childminder who is a Level 3 Early Years Educator and Elklan speech and language trainer. Jess has worked with children and adults in the care sector for many years, and specialises in Special Educational Needs, Disabilities and Equality in Education for all of our children, and is now studying her Level 5. 

Laura is our fourth team member who has her Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification (now completing her Level 3) and is our amazing arts and crafts lady. Laura brings a mix of languages including Lithuanian and Russian to the setting, as well as doing small group work and one to one, phonics and language sessions. Her kind and caring nature makes her a hit with the babies and children alike! Because of her love of languages, Laura is now also completing her Elklan speech and language training.

Katy is our fifth registered team member and has been working in the health care sector for 15 years. She regularly takes the one to one and small group sessions, working with babies from 6 months old up to school age and is also completing her level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.

Jo is our sixth team member has been working with newborn babies and children for over 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge, patience and guidance to her role. Jo is a Mary Poppins character who loves to bring out the best in all the children she cares for!

Nick is our seventh team member who is currently studying his Level 3 Forest School qualification. He has worked with children as an inclusion officer before coming to us and takes on the role as our outdoor learning practitioner.

We all have enhanced DBS certificate's on the update service, Level 3 paediatric first aid and safeguarding training among other things like British Sign Language, Makaton, Food Hygiene, Prevent Duty, etc! Please see 'Qualifications and Training' Page.
